Karl Stuckenberg, Lead Pastor
Pastor Karl Stuckenberg began serving as the Lead Pastor at Shepherd of the Hills in July 2013. He has served several churches in his ministry in Los Angles and Orange Counties. He received his B.A. degree in Economics from California State University, Fullerton, and completed his Masters of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology. He and his wife Kristen have been married for 17 years and have 2 daughters, Kayla and Kendal.
Kim Nason has been Director of Music at Santa Margarita since 1990. Kim directs the Chancel Choir which sings at the 9:30 service on Sundays. She also directs the annual children's summer Music Camp. Kim graduated from USC with a degree in Music Education. She has taught elementary music for the Capistrano Unified School District since 1988.
Kim and her husband Doug have been active in many groups and events at Santa Margarita since they became members in 1990. They live in Mission Viejo with their two children, Samantha and Joshua. Kim loves working with singers of all ages and especially enjoys the fellowship that happens when people are focused on a common goal.
Doug Nason heads up our worship multi-media teams. Doug is a graduate of Cal Poly, Pomona, and teaches science in elementary schools. He is married to Kim and is a "stay-at-home" dad for much of the week.
At church, Doug ensures that the different parts of media - music, lyrics, slide shows, movie clips, and videos - come together on Sunday mornings. When he's not editing video on the computer or creating new ideas for worship, Doug helps lead music at a few local churches and summer camps.
David has been with Shepherd of the Hills since September, 2008. David and his wife hail from Ladera Ranch where they have lived for the last several years. He received his Master of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and is serving our church three quarter time as minister with Jr. High, Sr. High and College-Age youth.
Ali Lotito currently attends Cal State Fullerton as a Child and Adolescent Development major with a minor in Spanish and teaches preschool during the week. She has volunteered with children's ministry programs including teaching Sunday school at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, Mission Viejo campus for four years. Ali was also a camp counselor at the Elementary Church Camp at Lazy W Ranch and is currently a co-leader of the Rancho Santa Margarita and Mission Viejo sites' Explorers Club for third through fifth graders.
Ali feels that working with children is her talent and calling from God and plans to continue to do so after graduation. When she is not with children (which is rare) she enjoys playing tennis and soccer, art, rollerblading, going to the beach, and like most girls, shopping.

This Week at RSM Campus
We continue with the series on the genealogy of Jesus, entitled "Jesus' Family Tree". The gospel of Matthew opens with a long list of people who are part of the lineage of Jesus. The list includes the ordinary, the extraordinary, the sinner, and the Saint. Why did Matthew include the people he included in the list and not just the heroes and somebodies? Come find out and worship with us!
